Today I am home from school early and make Zach and I lunch.. I decide to go Mexican and make a vegetarian tortilla pie with black beans, corn, salsa and cheese.. SOunds yummy right!?! Zach walks in and goes.. There's a lot of bean on that.. Do you not like beans I say? NO! So continue to persue the issue? Do you not like black beans.. what about this bean and i go through a list.. and its a flat out I DON'T LIKE BEANS issue! So Now i Have to eliminate all green vegetables and beans!! Which makes a healthy fresh diet seemingly impossible!!
Someone tell me there's hope out there. that my adult baby will learn to like good food!!

If Zach is anywhere NEAR as picky as my dad, you've got your work cut out for you!! One thing I've learned about cooking with beans is it's all about the seasoning you add to them. Garlic and a little bit of salt makes a world of difference.
I must admit that I only eat lima beans and green beans...and green beans were only added to my diet this past year. The despising of beans must be in our blood!
Hi Amanda -
I am one of Lindsey's friends and have enjoyed reading your blog, especially the wedding stuff! I just wanted to add to Lindsey's comment about the seasoning. My mother in law introduced "Jane's Crazy Mixed Up Salt" to me - on her lima beans! It's great! So I second the seasoning. :)
Good luck!

Oh - And my mother in law puts velveeta cheese on her green beans! So good!!
